Student Feedback

Just ask some students...

I had three questions when I entered the UBI building for the first time:

  1. how can one combine in national or international affairs the pure business approach with being people oriented and still make money?
  2. why is it interesting for a Belgian student to follow this MBA? What is the added value of working together with foreign students?
  3. why UBI?

After having followed different courses, all this became more and more clear to me: UBI stands for knowledge, motivation, flexibility and friendship. I learned a lot, also about myself. I truly believe this is important in life: to understand a business on the one hand but also to understand yourself on the other hand. UBI gave me this opportunity in a multi cultural environment. Learning can become fun and one is never to old to study because life changes all the time.

Bert VANDEBORNE (MBA), legal adviser Touring, Belgium

What's impressive is the expertise teachers have in their fields and how they tie it to academic theory.

Josephine WHITE (MBA), USA

Teachers here are true professionals, and they can really communicate. The atmosphere is great, and so international! That's what UBI means to me.

Dmitry SERGEEV (MBA), Russia

Why UBI? Because we are coached by top level Professors, and work on solving problems with the most recent management techniques. Also because UBI is continuously pushing students to become leaders.

This Business School excels in its ability to motivate, and provide a comprehensive business program in a practical-oriented way.

Alex J. KLEIN (BA), U.K

My dream is to combine a great career in Business with my passion for travelling. Therefore, I was looking for an international diploma in order to fulfill my dream. UBI was the place to start at!

Jens ROHRBACH (BA), Germany

I went to University in the U.S. (Santa Monica College, CA), because I wanted to experience the "American way of life", or should I say "of studying"... The experience was great! Then I came back to Belgium and I am completing my studies at UBI-Brussels.

Filip VAN THUYNEN (BA), Belgium

What I really like at UBI is that all teachers concentrate on solutions rather than problems. We have the opportunity of working together on real-life management situations, and sharing our experiences. That's Learning!

Nitza RACHMAN (MBA), Israel

I chose UBI because the teaching they provide is result-oriented. I feel as if I could immediately use what is being taught in class ! Think about the difference there is between dreaming and taking ACTION!

Yuhong -Helen- HE (BA), China

Choosing a school has a direct impact on your future. I was looking for high standards, an international environment, and an opportunity to develop my own personality. I found it all at United Business Institutes.

Christophe SAUTTER (BA), France

After graduating at Webster University, I was offered a General Management position in Brussels. But, I felt I needed a specialization in International Business - an MBA. I looked into several options, and settled for UBI because they have the professors I was looking for.

Ignacio ARCAYA (MBA), Venezuela

The open, team-oriented, professional environment has given me the confidence I needed to tackle any business situation, and to persuade o thers about things I feel are most important.

Kari STRÖM (MBA), Finland

American business philosophy and European tradition. Both concepts work really well together! Moreover, I have learned that the professors were relying a lot on the students as much as you can rely on them.

Lukasz NIEDZIELSKI (BA), Poland

Business can be a very dangerous game... but it can be much safer if you know the rules. At UBI you will find a new form of international education; one that is "elite" oriented instead of being simply fashionable.

Pierre DELAGNES (BA), France

The sample of students in my group is perfectly representative of a true intercultural community. Since I joined UBI, I have learned from and been challenged by outstanding teachers and all of my fellow-students.

UBI is shattering the Business School myth and replacing it by Business Reality. UBI could also mean United Brains Institutes. The environment is surprising, stimulating and flexible - in the same way successful business is.

Going for an american program in the heart of Europe is a wonderful opportunity! I took it.

The traineeships (internships) with companies, as well as the case studies are essential in establishing a balanced approach to studying, with an awareness of what it is like in the "real world".

Susanne KLINT (BA), Sweden

Isn't it just great to study what Americans do best (Business) in Europe's cultural crossing (Brussels)?

Jean-Marc BUKASA (BA), Congo

Effective, useful and practical courses for Business. Besides this, I found here a friendly and supportive atmosphere, which can not be matched by other Universities I know.

Shahrzad TOFIGHI (BA), Iran

Studying in English is a challenge for me (!), but it is most important. The Business World belongs to those who are fluent in English, to those who can work and "think" in English. It is not always easy, but I know I can count on my teachers.

Mounia OUATTARA (BA), Burkina Fasso

If you do not want high quality courses with professional teachers, in the heart of Europe, and in an international environment, please do not come to UBI-Brussels.

Need a Challenge? Do you want to experience all aspects of international business? If you are ready for this, I would recommend you join us at UBI-Brussels.

It is the competitive academic atmosphere which I like most. The students, professors, and everything about the school are very motivating. UBI is not just another European University or School, it is a high standard Business School which I'm proud to be part of.

Evans MWEWA (BA), Zambia

I went for the MBA at UBI because the program is comprehensive, the Institute is linked to a top American University, it is open to new ideas, the management is highly professional, enthusiastic and truly involved.
