Recent Professional Academic Experience

Sep 2008-Present Assistant professor at Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Engineering Management, Department of Production Management and Logistics

  • I have been teaching undergraduate and post graduate students in the field of operations management and logistics. I’m the member of the team responsible for course development and teaching quality assurance of the programmes at Master-level and Bachelor-Level. 

  • I have conducted research in the field circular economy and its influence on the management of business processes mainly in small and medium sized companies. 

  • My previous research projects included the cooperation of companies and R&D institutions and they aimed to enable companies introduce sustainable paradigms in everyday business processes.

  • I was teaching undergraduate and post graduate students in the field of operations management and logistics. I developed the programmes “Bachelor in Logistics” and “Engineer in Logistics” and was their programme manager in the years 2011-2013.

  • I was member of the Assessment Committee at Master-level course Business Management.

Mar 2017-Jul 2017 Visiting scholar at the Luxembourg University, at the Nexus Project “Citizen Science for Actionable Knowledge about Future Water- and Food Systems”.

  • I provided input on circular economy.

  • I was a member of the working group at STRIA (Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda). I was responsible for preparing a roadmap for the Strategic Transport Research and Innovation Agenda

Selected Publications & Other Achievements
  • German-Polish cooperation for sustainable development, project SIRO, “Sustainability in Remanufacturing operations” (2012-2014), I was the main applicant and I took the lead in coordinating the work of the Polish research team - Grant from the National Centre for Research and Development, WPN/2/2012.

  • Industry Collaborative Research Project LOGOS, (2012-2015) “Virtual supply chain coordination model which meets the requirements of corporate social responsibility policy", I was co-applicant - Grant from the National Centre for Research and Development, PBS/180307/12.

  • “Foresight ‘Clustering at Wielkopolska region’- scenarios of knowledge dissemination for development of the knowledge based economy” (2009-2011), I was co-applicant and I was responsible for preparing the grant application and feasibility study for the whole project. In the project there were 3 research strands and I was coordinator of research field PB1:”Potential economic and socio-economic networks in the region, types of relationships with a focus on innovation”. The grant was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the framework of the Innovative Economy Programme /UDA - POIG 01.01.01 - 30 - 014/09.
