Bachelor Degrees - Tuition Fees & Scholarships

2021/22 Tuition Fees

  • The regular tuition fees for students enrolling in UBI’s three-year Bachelor programmes in the academic year 2021-2022 are EUR 5.400 per semester.

  • UBI offers a wide range of scholarships and tuition support programmes for prospective and currently enrolled students. For details, please see “Scholarships & Tuition Support Programmes” further below. 

    • For EU/non-visa students: a down-payment of EUR 500 is required to secure a place in the programme. The down payment will later be deducted from the tuition fees.

    • For non-EU/visa students: a down-payment of EUR 5 650 is required to secure a place in the programme. The down-payment is equal to the first-semester tuition fees plus a EUR 250 one-time, non-refundable administrative fee.

  • Tuition fees must be paid in full before the start of each semester (September and February).

  • Tuition fees do not include personal equipment (e.g.: computers), textbooks, printing services, accommodation, visa fees for international study trips and/or similar academic expenses.

  • UBI automatically waives additional fees to non-EU students; non-EU students pay the same tuition fees as EU students.

​*IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISA STUDENTS*:

  • Students requiring a visa to study at UBI must make a down-payment of EUR 5 650. UBI must receive the down-payment in full before providing any official documents (e.g.: enrolment, registration, etc.) that might be required in visa applications.

    • The down-payment of EUR 5 650 covers the tuition fees for the first semester (EUR 5 400) plus an administrative fee (EUR 250). The tuition fees are fully refundable in case of visa rejection or a deferral/withdrawal before the start of the programme. The administrative fee is non-refundable.

  • The total amount must be paid by bank transfer.

  • Furthermore, students may be required to provide subsistence funds, financial guarantees and/or other proof of financial support as part of the visa application process.

  • Merit-based Scholarship

  • Family-based Scholarship

  • Special-group Scholarship

  • Refugee-status Scholarship

For enrolled students:

  • Financial Aid

  • Payment Plan

Most scholarships and tuition support programmes need a separate application, which must be emailed to UBI’s admissions administrator.
